Freya is a female-owned business that works with artisans in Ecuador to craft each hat by hand.

Freya hats are made using straw from the durable and flexible Toquilla palm tree. The weavers are women - mothers, daughters, and grandmothers - who have learned their craft from generations before them, and their technique has survived for over 3,000 years.
